An Underwater Tea Party: A Free* Work in Progress Production

May 15, 7:30pm-10pm

Are you bored of the everyday tedium, where your aunt makes tea and you have to pretend that reality isn't drenched in capitalism and false manners? Do you ever wish you could be yourself, or at least a weirder version of yourself?
Look no further, because Loft 112 and Ella Jean present "An Underwater Tea Party: A Free* Work in Progress Production". Life is weird. But you know what's even weirder? Sea monsters, and ties, and pizza. Enter a world where you can disconnect from reality, enjoy a warm drink, listen to some dope beats and bask in the awkwardness of social interaction.

Ella Jean is a Calgarian artist back from the UK where she spent one too many nights in Soho, and got a little fucked up in Brighton that time. Underwater Tea Party is a performance of original [www.ellajeanmusic.com] and improvised songs, as well as a healthy dose of honest rap.

*Because of the "work in progress" nature of the show, you are encouraged to "pay what you think the show is worth". There will also be a "sticky note feedback" wall during the performance. You have so much power!
Bring a friend, bring a stranger, bring your aunt - because she likes tea.

Bridge For Beginners - CANCELLED DUE TO ILLNESS

May 21

Played by suburban couples, ladies who lunch, your grandparents, and the young and hip whiling away fireside time at cabins, the game of Bridge is an intellectually challenging and enjoyable card game that only requires you to have a deck of cards, three friends to play with, a pencil and a pad to keep score, and a sharp mind.

Intended for the complete beginner, one who knows nothing, or almost nothing, about bridge.

$5 drop in fee RSVP loftonetwelve@gmail.com
