    Long Lunch Quick Reads – 10 delicious literary luncheons at Loft 112 in East Village!

    Hot off the press!  

    Noir on Eighth – An original, epic new serial novel in the grand tradition of a “Penny Dreadful” - in ten delightful chapters, written by ten of Calgary’s brilliant writers, and featuring some of our city’s quirkiest historical characters and events. 

     

    Find yourself in a quiet environment free of e-distraction to read and be part of a new literary experiment between local Calgary writers and readers. Come receive chapter one with lunch, cake and balloons on our birthday weekend. Then, over the course of ten Fridays (May 8, May 22, June 11, July 3, July 24, August 14, September 4, September 25, October 16, November 6) Loft 112 will be the place to pick up the new installment of the serial historical novel set in Calgary and written by Calgary writers. 

     

    Feel free to bring your own lunch or boxed lunches are available for pre-order which include a Sunterra sandwich, snack and choice of non-alcoholic beverage for $12.

    Community is important to us at Loft 112. So is writing. Join us Thursday mornings to create an East Village community of writers. Learn to write your life story. Or try your hand at fiction or poetry. This session is open ended and free. Come as often or as little as you like. Bring, pen, paper or anything you like to write with. Coffee, tea (and paper provided.)
